Install View Client

1. Click https://view.health.usf.edu/ to download the View client. 
2. Click VMware Horizon Client.  

3. Click the corresponding client for your operating system.
   Click below for additional information on verifying your operating system.
   

    Windows 10 click here.

   1. Type System in the search box located on the left of the toolbar marked Search the web and Windows.
   2. Then select the item listed as System - Control Panel as shown in the diagram.
      
       
      
      
      The System information screen will open and will identify the edition of your Windows operating system and system type (32-bit or 64-bit).
      
      
    Windows 8 click here.

   1. Click on the Windows icon on the left of the toolbar or hit the Windows Key on the keyboard.
   2. From the Start menu click on the search icon that looks like a magnifying glass.
      
       
       
   3. Type System in the search field in the dialog box that opens.
   4. Select the item listed as System as shown in the diagram.
      
       
      
       The System information screen will open and will identify the edition of your Windows operating system and system type (32-bit or 64-bit).
      
       
    Windows 7 click here.

   1. Click on the Windows icon on the left of the toolbar or hit the Windows key on the keyboard.
   2. Type System in the search field that opens just above the Windows icon.
   3. Then select the item listed as System under the Control Panel heading as shown in the diagram.
      
      
      
      
      The System information screen will open and will identify the edition of your Windows operating system and system type (32-bit or 64-bit).
      
       

4. Run the file that is downloaded.
   
   

   NOTE

   A User Account Control dialog box may open, asking if you want to allow the changes to be made to your computer. If this occurs, click Yes.

5. The VMware Horizon Client Setup Install Wizard will open and bring up the VMware end-user license agreement dialog box.
   Select Agree & Install. See Figure 1.

6. When the install completes, you will see a Success! box. Select Finish. See Figure 2.

7. Another box will pop up, asking you to restart your computer. Select Restart Now. See Figure 3.

Access VMware View

1. Double-click VMware Horizon Client on your desktop.
    
   
   
2. The VMWare Horizon Client Add Server box will open. Click + New Server. See Figure 4.

3. The VMWare Server Name box will open. Enter view.health.usf.edu in the field for Connection Server name. See Figure 5.

4. The VMWare Login box will open. Enter your Forest (NetID username and password) credentials, then click Login. See Figure 6.

5. A dialog box will open, listing all the VMware Client Views you have access to. See Figure 7.

6. Double-Click the VMware View you want to open to connect. 

   PLEASE NOTE: Users utilizing PCIS Prenatal or PCIS My Care Team will no longer see a separate PCIS Icon in the selected view. You will now access the PCIS icon directly via the Clinical Desktop View. 

7. The VMware View you selected will launch, initialize, and open. See Figure 8.

Monitor Settings

1. To extend the display to a dual monitor, select the icon that is highlighted in the figure below.. 
2. In the display drop-down menu select All Monitors. 
3. To display to a single monitor, in the display drop-down menu select Fullscreen. See Figure 9.
