For prospective nursing students who indicate Nursing as their intended major when applying for admission to the University of South Florida as a first time in college student (FTIC). Students who have graduated high school with 12 or more college credits are not eligible for this pathway (credits completed through dual enrollment don't count towards the 12).

For students who are interested in receiving a bachelor’s degree in nursing, don't have a degree, and are not a nurse, medic, or corpsman.

Upper Division nursing pathway Live Sessions (RSVP Required)

  • Designed for prospective Upper Division nursing pathway prospective students who are exploring the Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN), and wanting to know more information about what can be expected in the program if selected for admission.
  • Each session covers the student experience, time management, clinicals, NCLEX, simulation experiences, cost, and current nursing student insight (pending availability).
  • Scheduled for one hour with additional time allowed based on participation.
  • Teams Meeting links and a calendar invitation will be sent with a confirmation email before the scheduled session.

titleVeteran to BS (V-CARE) Information Session

This information session is for current service members or veterans who have medical training experience as a military medic or corpsmen and are interested in earning a bachelor's degree in nursing.

The information session has been pre-recorded for your convenience. We understand that military personnel are stationed all over the world and might have trouble meeting at a particular time for an information session.
